A robot for DRC has been developed as a whole body humanoid robot based on high power output humanoid robot STARO developed in our lab. [Y.Ito et al. 'Development and Verification of Life-Size Humanoid with High-Output Actuation System' ICRA 2014] Remarkable features of this robot are human like shape and kinematics, water cooled and high output motor drive system and control system developed as open source software ( https://github.com/start-jsk and https://github.com/jsk-ros-pkg ).
