Team Juggernaut
Vehicle Name Desert Juggernaut
Team E-mail
Location Sandy, UT
Team Description* DesignJug, LLC is committed to the creation of high value electronic systems used to solve significant industry problems. Toward that end, DesignJug has fully committed resources to the sponsorship of a vehicle (Desert Juggernaut) and a team (Team Juggernaut) in order to compete in DARPA's Grand Challenge 2005.

Team Juggernaut consists of full-time and part-time professionals with over 20 years of experience in ruggedized systems design and manufacture in a variety of industries. Their backgrounds include: project management, business management, systems design and development, software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic and mechanical assembly, sales and marketing, procurement, and strategic planning.

A portion of the Team will spend most of their time in the field testing and proving out the technology. To support these efforts, a mobile laboratory that houses sophisticated electronics and software has been set up, complete with remote internet access.

Troy Takach, Senior Managing Partner of DesignJug and Team Leader of Team Juggernaut said: "Team Juggernaut believes that the solution exists today to solve this challenge. It is truly a matter of marrying the various technologies together in an elegant and cost effective manner. It is crucial that this be done so that our troops' exposure to harm is minimized."

Team Juggernaut looks forward to providing that solution.

Sponsors* Team Juggernaut is appreciative of the support from our sponsors. An up-to-date list of sponsors can be found at
